Match Report

Yesterday, 8^th October, the year 6 football team (two year 5s!) went to St Margrets to play a football tournament. It started when we played Carleton House, we ended up winning 2-0 straight away.  We had to get ready for our next game, Rudston, it was a tight game, and the final result was a deserved draw. Wavertree were next; we were the better team and finally scored in the last minute!!! Hay Green were our next opponents, yet again it was a tough battle but ended up with a deserving 1-0 win. A small team called Phoenix were next, let’s say they aren’t the best team we only won 8-0 in 8 minutes!!  The final game we came up against Windsor, we didn’t know how it would go but in the end, we won 5-0!! We came to sit down and the people in charge was about to reveal whether we had got through… we did!! We will be playing at Finch Farm, Everton’s training ground next and if we win there we shall play at Goodison Park, Everton’s stadium. We would like to say a big thank you to Mr Birkett, who took us and managed us.
